The South African west coast rock lobster sector will meet with the Minister of Environment, Forestry and Fisheries, Ms Barbara Creecy, tomorrow.
The impact of the Coronavirus on the west coast rock lobster sector will be discussed.
Associations, small-scale sector representatives, interim relief representatives and fish processing establishments processing west coast rock lobster are urged to attend.
The meeting will be held tomorrow, 14 February 2020 from 10:00 to 13:00 at the Pieter Stoker Centre at the V&A Waterfront, East Pier Ground Floor, Cape Town.

Coronavirus phishing scam
Meanwhile, Fishing Industry News Southern Africa has been alerted to a phishing scam that uses the Coronavirus as its lure. The email carries the logo of the World Health Organization, but the criminals have made numerous spelling and grammatical mistakes that act as warning signs that this is not what it seems… Further, the link you’re asked to click on is similarly, and fortunately, dubious.
